Olivia's Smuckers Late Night Snack

This recipe takes a back to school staple, an uncrustable, and prepares it in an unusual and decadent way.

You know that late night craving? The kid's asleep, you have a nice glass of tea. And it hits. You need a cake. A cookie. You need...the uncrustables you brought for your child's lunch because they were easy and vegan? We at That Vegan Jew say "Absolutely, have we got an amazing idea for you." One of my best friend's and I used to enjoy these, laughing about how broke we were. So light that lavender aromatherapy candle, put on your favorite sheet mask and brew another pot of tea. (Is that just what coffee drinkers say?)


The inspiration for this recipe was one part Eric Cartman's (you know, the South Park character) butter smooshed pop tart creation, and one part severe PMS craving.

This recipe takes no prep time, about 5 minutes of cook time and serves only you.

The supplies needed are: small frying pan. You will need the following ingredients: 1Smucker's uncrustables, 2 tablespoons non-dairy cool whip (I use coco whip), 2 tablespoons plant based butter, and chocolate sprinkles. Oh, and your mouth. You are going to want to taste this.

STEP 1 Warm 1 tbs plant based butter in a small frying pan. When the butter has melted place the uncrustable on the pan. Cook until that side is crisp.

STEP 2 Remove uncrustable from the pan. Melt the second stick of butter and place the un-fried side on the the pan. Cook until brown. Remove from heat.

Step 3 Place the uncrustable on a nice plate. Dollop semi defrosted whipped topping on top. Garnish with chocolate sprinkles. "Just Eat" and you can thank me in the comments.

Vegan BBQ Beef and Sesame Noodle Bowl

Prep Time 5 Minutes Cook Time 25 min Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 packaged uncrustable peanut butter and jelly sandwich

  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy whipped topping

  • 2 tablespoons plant based butter

  • chocolate sprinkles (to top)


Directions
